Freeway Moving & Transportation LLC was begun in 2005, and is currently in its sixth year of operation. Ms. Raquel Berger, the day-to day operations manager, via her prior employment, gained extensive experience in the moving industry.
Additionally, she has a Brazilian law degree, and in her previous career practiced law in that country. The moving business, in both the U.S. and Latin America, is highly regulated and, accordingly, Ms. Berger’s legal background is of invaluable -2- assistance in enabling her to deal with the myriad rules and regulations that impact her industry.
When Freeway Moving & Transportation began operations, it moved people and businesses locally in the New York metropolitan area.
Over the course of the past five years, the Brazilian economy in particular, and the Latin American economy in general, have experienced high rates of growth.
Upon discovering that there was a large, unmet need for reliable moving and relocation services between the U.S., Brazil, and other Latin American countries, we began offering service to the Latin American market from the U.S., and from the Latin American market to the U.S. The high rate of economic growth in the Latin American market, coupled with Freeway Moving & Transportation offering high quality, reliable service, has enabled us to compete against larger, better know competitors.
Presently, Freeway Moving & Transportation, in addition to operating from its home office in Newark, N.J., has established offices in Florida and Massachusetts.
We are in the process of establishing ourselves in Toronto, Canada as well.
